Individual Therapy

I create a safe space that is collaborative and confidential. Whether you are coping with major life challenges, depression or anxiety, or simply want to make changes to your life, I am here to support you on your journey. Depending on the objectives you set, we may work together for a few sessions or throughout several years.

Individual therapy sessions typically last 60 minutes. The frequency and duration of therapy depends on your needs, treatment goals, and progress. I am trained to treat a diverse range of challenges in children and adults, but my practice focuses specifically on autistic individuals in need of support.

Strengths-Based Therapy

Focus on what is strong. Build on it. Grow from it.

Therapy that helps you recognize your strengths, build resilience, and create a meaningful life that aligns with you.

Strength-based approaches to therapy build on inner strengths instead of trying to fix weaknesses or perceived deficits. Identifying your core strengths and helping you to build your concept of who you are around those is one of the pieces of strengths-based work.

While strengths do involve skills, strengths are more than what we do. They are traits that encompass who we are and apply across many different situations in our lives. I will help you to first identify your strengths, then determine ways to use those strengths to improve your life.

My Work with Children

Every child deserves to feel seen, heard, and supported.

I provide compassionate, evidence-based support to help children build confidence, navigate challenges, and develop the skills they need to thrive at home, in school, and in life.

I work with children ages 5 to 17 on issues related to:

  • ADHD
  • Autism
  • Anxiety
  • Depression
  • Trauma
  • Self-esteem

I use the entire 60-minute session to meet with your child. Once a month, I connect with parents separately to discuss challenges and growth. I use a variety of approaches including play therapy.

I ask that parents not discuss problem behaviors with the child in the room, so that children can understand that therapy is a safe space. We can discuss issues further in a parent session alone.
